GB Family Care provides immigration medical exams as part of our complete healthcare services at our two Phoenix Valley clinic locations.
What is an Immigration Exam?
A requirement for immigrating to the United States, an immigration medical examination paves the way for an individual to become a permanent resident (green card holder).
Often referred to a “green card medical exam”, the purpose of the appointment is to ensure public safety while achieving the requirements for admission for immigrants.
The examination procedure is the physical process taken to remove any restrictions from admission. Certain diseases that pose a public health safety risk would make an individual inadmissible to the United States.
What is the Purpose of the Exam?
The medical examination is designed to protect the resident population. By conducting the exam, the individual will then receive a conclusive report of the examination along with a vaccination record. These items will then provide the US Citizenship & Immigration Services the appropriate documentation to determine if an immigrant meets health safety standards for admission.
